Social Venture Circle, formerly Social Venture Network (SVN), is a transformational community of entrepreneurs, investors and visionaries. SVN was the birthplace for much of the social impact movement and many of the game-changing business driving good over the last 40 years. From the seeding of B Corp, BALLE, Opportunity Collaboration, Mama Chia, IC, ASBC, Ben and Jerry’s, with spiritual influence from Ram Dass, Reverand Barber and countless others, SVN has been formative in driving business for good and is now shaping the next era of our collective as we grapple with both exponential challenges and opportunities in this decisive decade calling for bold change and courageous leadership.

With our new Emergent Strategy, we have implemented an Interim Board. This allows us to ensure that all voices are valued and brought in to collectively build our next chapter of advancing social ventures. To build back the trust of our community by demonstrating that our actions match our values and words in all that we do. We make and hold safe spaces for diversity to show up, have power, share their thoughts, be heard, and seen, and be respected for their unique input. We have strong mechanisms in place that help listen, and capture these voices and bring them forward into action.

Recognizing the current interim board composition, we're dedicated to broadening our perspectives and ensuring our initiatives reflect the diversity we aspire to embody. This commitment extends to all our actions and is a cornerstone of our strategy moving forward. With this, we are creating a Board Matrix which will be reflexive in our actions to create a diverse and unanimous board that will be elected every July.
